I showed this print in the February 2022 exhibition “Guernsey Granite” at the Coach House Gallery in Guernsey.

This picture is exactly what it says on the tin - Guernsey granite. But Guernsey granite is so much more than the rocky ground Guerns walk on. It was the heart and soul of Guernsey for centuries and went on to build and pave many of the best loved buildings and public spaces in Britain. It was not for nothing known as Guernsey gold. Some may also be able to spot a Guernsey fairy about to erupt from this rock.
