the world expressed in
light, colour, form and texture
by oli henri
in the 1970s before going into software design and other things.
In 1985, my wife - textile artist Mai-Britt Axelsen - and I moved to Britain, working in London and California as well as travelling widely.
Gradually, my photographic training became a tool for personal and artistic expression, and it was during a six month Australian walkabout that the light and landscape of that stark country crystallised my visual thinking into the four basic elements which I express in my pictures:
light, colour, form and texture.
The latest printing technology now enables me to sell images from five decades
of photography as high quality, affordable and durable limited edition canvas prints.
