MY EXPERIMENTAL DIGITAL VIEW CAMERA

I built this camera by adapting a Horseman L45 view camera to a Nikon D800 DSLR, so I could use the view camera movements to control the image.

The camera uses medium or large format lenses because they have longer flange focal distances and larger image circles than DSLR lenses.

Such lenses do not always match the quality of DSLR lenses, but the view camera controls provide other valuable picture qualities.

The bag bellows seen here can be found on ebay and may be ordered with a bayonet for a number of different DSLRs.

I may fit the camera with different digital backs at some point, like a medium format back or a mirrorless body.
